The bus of Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme leaves for Gurdwaras from Kotla and Bhagwala villages.

Kiratpur Sahib, September 16: Under the Mukhtar Mantri Tirath Yatra Yojana being run by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to take the people of the state to visit various religious and historical places, buses were sent from villages Kotla and Bhagwala today for the devotees to visit the Gurdwaras. Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains flagged off the bus. On this occasion, special enthusiasm was seen among the villagers and the devotees going on the pilgrimage.
Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the objective of the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme is to provide the facility of visiting religious places to the people of the state, so that the devotees can visit the holy shrines and other religious places without any financial burden. He said that the Punjab government is providing this travel facility while respecting the religious sentiments of the people.

He said that special care is being taken of the facilities and needs of the congregation during the journey. While talking to the passengers on the occasion of sending off the bus, the Cabinet Minister wished them well and said that by visiting the holy shrines, the congregation should attain spiritual peace and the happiness of the Guru Ghar. He said that the prayers of the elders and the love of the congregation always inspire people to serve the people.
On this occasion, the residents of village Kotla and Bhagwala thanked the Punjab Government and Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains and said that through this scheme they are getting an opportunity to visit holy religious places. They said that such trips are helpful in connecting people with their religious and cultural heritage. While the bus was leaving, the Sangat expressed their devotion to Guru Sahib and prayed for the success of the trip and the welfare of all.
