14 Examination Centres Established in Rupnagar District for PSSSB Class-IV Examination

Additional District Magistrate-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Akshita Gupta Issues Orders Under Section 163 in View of the Examination

Rupnagar, October 24: To ensure the peaceful and smooth conduct of the Class-IV examination for Group-D posts being conducted by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) on October 25, 2026, Additional District Magistrate-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rupnagar, Dr. Akshita Gupta, has issued orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

She stated that the examination, being conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, is scheduled to take place from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A total of 14 examination centres have been established across Rupnagar district for this purpose.

The Additional District Magistrate said that the objective of these orders is to maintain law and order during the examination and ensure that the examination process is conducted in a fair, orderly and transparent manner. The concerned officials have been directed to make the necessary arrangements and ensure strict compliance with the instructions issued in this regard.

The District Administration is coordinating with the concerned departments to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place for the smooth and successful conduct of the examination.
