NSS 7-day special camp at Government College Ropar dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Ji on the fourth day

Rupnagar, September 30: The fourth day of the NSS 7-day special camp at Government College Ropar was dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Sri Bhagat Singh Ji.

On this occasion, the Principal of the college, S. Jatinder Singh Gill, while addressing the volunteers, said that the sacrifices and teachings that Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji has given in his short life will always be remembered. He made the volunteers aware of the life story of Bhagat Singh Ji and flagged off a peaceful rally from the college to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk. The volunteers gave a message during the rally that they will remain true to the thoughts of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji and will strive to realize his dreams.

In the second session of the camp, National Youth Awardee Mr. Satnam Singh Satti shared his views with the volunteers and said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji gave a revolutionary form to his thinking through books during his time in jail and proved that real revolution does not come with weapons but with ideas. The second keynote speaker Mr. Yogesh Mohan Pankaj, who is a National and State Youth Awardee, motivated the volunteers to stay connected with NSS and social service.

The stage of this program was conducted by Dr. Mandeep Kaur. For the success of the program, Prof. Jagjit Singh, Prof. Kuldeep Kaur, Prof. Chandragupta, Prof. Manpreet Kaur, Prof. Gurpreet Kaur, Prof. Taranjot Kaur and all the volunteers made commendable contributions.
