Excellent display of discipline, culture and cadet life at NCC CATC-68 training camp Roopnagar, September 23: The Joint Annual Training Camp organized by 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Ludhiana under the aegis of Ludhiana Group Headquarters is effectively highlighting various aspects of cadet life. During this camp, cadets are being provided with opportunities to participate in cultural and group activities along with rigorous training. During this camp, cadets are actively participating in drill parade, weapons handling training and map reading exercises. These activities highlight the importance of discipline, accuracy and responsibility in NCC training. Apart from this, special lectures and information sessions are being conducted on important topics like healthcare, disaster management and cyber security to enhance the knowledge and awareness of the cadets. Through these sessions, the cadets are being given important information related to daily life and emergency situations. The cultural programs and group activities being conducted in this camp are playing an important role in strengthening the bond, team spirit and self-confidence among the cadets. Similarly, formal events like presentation of mementos and honoring of outstanding contributors are further strengthening the spirit of service and sense of responsibility among the cadets. The daily activities during the camp, including group meals and discussions for guidance and counselling, reflect the overall training vision of NCC. The camp is serving as an effective platform for developing discipline, leadership, mutual cooperation and a sense of community among the cadets. Practically embodying the core principles of NCC, “Unity and Discipline”, it is providing an opportunity to around 600 cadets to assume leadership responsibilities, participate in various competitions and prepare themselves for future service opportunities.
