Sri Anandpur Sahib 25 September : S. Harjot Singh Bains, Cabinet Minister of Education and Information and Public Relations Department, held a meeting with the sanitation workers and local government employees and assured them that the government is serious about their demands and a meeting with the sub-committee will be held soon.
The Cabinet Minister said that our team has been in touch with the sanitation workers sitting on strike every day for the last 10-12 days. Now after listening to their demands, it was decided that they will be able to put their legitimate demands before the sub-committee.
S. Bains clarified that there is no threat to the job of any employee and neither should anyone be intimidated or misled. The Punjab government led by S. Bhagwant Singh Mann Sahib is a government that provides government jobs, no one’s job will be lost, all jobs are completely secure. He said that all the employees should understand their responsibility and work on their duty with full dedication. AAP government is a government of the common people and only positive decisions are being taken for the rights and interests of the people. On this occasion, Harjit Singh Jeeta, President, Nagar Council, Inderjit Singh Arora, President, Vyapaar Mandal, Dilip Hans, Member, Dalit Development Board, Sunil Adwal, President, Rehri Union and Nagar Council employees and sanitation workers were present.
