500 Drones Illuminate the Sky of Sri Anandpur Sahib, Presenting the Life and Philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji

Sri Anandpur Sahib, September 27: As part of the series of drone shows being organised by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, a spectacular drone show was held at Sri Anandpur Sahib on Sunday evening. A fleet of 500 drones illuminated the night sky and presented the great teachings, philosophy and message of honest labour and righteous living associated with Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
A large number of devotees witnessed the unique aerial show, which beautifully combined technology and spirituality. Through the 500 drones, the life and philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji were portrayed effectively, highlighting his timeless message of equality, brotherhood, compassion, social justice and human dignity.
Addressing the gathering, Harjot Singh Bains, MLA and Cabinet Minister, Punjab, said that the Punjab Government is organising a series of events throughout the year dedicated to the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. He said the objective is to spread the great teachings of Guru Ji and particularly familiarise the younger generation with his philosophy.
He said the spectacular drone show was a befitting tribute to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji and a unique initiative to take his timeless message to the new generation. He added that the event was not merely a drone show but an impactful presentation of Guru Ji’s message of equality and human dignity, inspiring people to follow the path shown by him.
Mr. Bains said that the state government has reserved a budget of ₹100 crore for programmes dedicated to the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. He said documentary shows based on the life and teachings of Guru Ji are being screened in 13,000 villages, taking his message to the grassroots level.
He further said that seminars based on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji are also being organised for students in educational institutions across Punjab. He said everyone is fortunate to have the opportunity to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Guru Ji through year-long programmes, including seminars, documentary shows and religious events.
The Cabinet Minister appealed to people to celebrate this historic occasion with devotion and unity and to further spread the great message of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
Mr. Bains said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is commemorating the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji with devotion and using modern mediums to take Guru Ji’s universal philosophy to the people.
He informed that as part of the celebrations, 92 drone shows are being organised across Punjab. He said the objective is not only to familiarise the younger generation with the revolutionary philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji but also to spread his teachings among the people, which remain highly relevant even today.
During the event, leaders of various religious organisations were present along with a large gathering of devotees. Gurbani Shabad and Kirtan were also presented during the drone show, spiritually uplifting the gathering.
