Sri Anandpur Sahib 06 January: A special meeting was held today in the meeting hall of SDM office Sri Anandpur Sahib regarding the arrangements to be made by all departments/school heads regarding the Sub-Divisional level Republic Day celebration. In which officers/school heads of various departments attended this meeting.
In this meeting held under the leadership of Jaspreet Singh Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sri Anandpur Sahib, duties were assigned regarding the arrangements made for the Republic Day celebration. Giving information on this occasion, the SDM said that in this meeting, the Sub-Divisional level Republic Day celebration in Sri Anandpur Sahib will be celebrated at Charan Ganga Stadium Sri Anandpur Sahib. He said that the national flag will be hoisted at 10 am on January 26. Similarly, the parade will be inspected at 10:02 am, the chief guest’s speech at 10:10 am and the march past will be at 10:20 am. He said that the ceremony will end with the national anthem.
He said that on January 12, the selection of cultural performances will be done at SGS Khalsa Senior Secondary School at 10 am and rehearsals will be held on January 19, 21 and full dress rehearsal on January 24 at Charan Ganga Stadium at 10 am.
Jashandeep Singh Mann DSP Sri Anandpur Sahib said that all security arrangements will be ensured on the occasion of Republic Day at the sub-divisional level so that no kind of problem is faced.
On this occasion, Karanvir Singh Naib Tehsildar, Gurminder Singh Bhullar, Dr. Ranbir Singh, Bhawna Diwan SDO, Sukhbir Singh JE, Vikramjit Singh, Ramanpreet Kaur, Rajwinder Singh, Arun Sharma, Dr. Damandeep Singh, Rajinder Singh, Sarabjit Singh, Dr. Surjit Singh, Amrik Singh, Simranpal Singh, Kuljit Singh, Hemraj, Baljit Kaur, Paramjit Singh, Iqbal Singh, Satish Kumar Headmaster, Jaswinder Kaur, Manjit Kumar, Kamalpreet Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Bharat Kapoor, Jaspreet Singh Bedi, Pushwinder Kaur, Maninder Singh and teachers of various schools were present.
