Punjab government is showing a documentary based on the teachings of village gurus.
Following the path shown by great gurus, leaders and saints is the need of the hour.
Sri Anandpur Sahib, October 05: As part of the year-long series of events dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji, a documentary film based on the life, ideology and teachings of Guru Ji is being made available to the people in villages and cities. For this purpose, documentary vans being operated are going to different villages and making people aware of the great life of Guru Ji and the message he gave to humanity.
Under this series, a documentary van reached Tarapur and Thapal today, where a large number of villagers watched a documentary based on the life and teachings of Guru Ji. During this, people were made aware of the message of equality, brotherhood, hard work, honesty and service to humanity given by Guru Ravidas Ji.
On this occasion, it was told that the Bani of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji and his teachings show the right direction to the society even today. Guru Ji rose above caste, class and social discrimination and gave the message of equality and brotherhood. Therefore, today’s young generation also needs to adopt the path shown by the great Gurus, leaders and saints in their lives.
The villagers appreciated the efforts being made by the Punjab government to commemorate the 650th birth anniversary of Guru Sahib and said that such documentaries are helping in conveying the life and thoughts of Guru Sahib to the new generation. They said that conveying the teachings of Guru Ji from door to door will help in further strengthening the spirit of harmony, harmony and humanity in the society.
