
Kiratpur Sahib 03 October: The Punjab government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has released the second installment of the Mother-Daughter Respect Scheme in the bank accounts of the beneficiary women, creating a wave of joy among them. The women of village Kotbala said that the provision of the honorarium under the scheme by the government is an important step towards the respect and economic support of women. They said that the benefits of the schemes being run by the government for the welfare of the people are being extended to the eligible beneficiaries.

The women said that they felt happy with the second installment of money coming back to their accounts. They said that through the Mother-Daughter Respect Scheme, women are not only being given respect but also being helped in their needs. They thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains and said that the common people are getting direct benefits from the efforts being made to take the government’s welfare schemes to the grassroots level.
Women Gurvinder, Pinky, Hardeep Kaur, Harpal Kaur, Sunita, Harjit Kaur, Prakash Kaur and Poonam who gathered in village Kotbala said that today the second installment of the Mother-Daughter Respect Scheme has reached their bank accounts. They said that this amount will help women to meet their family expenses and other essential needs. They expressed gratitude for the respect being given to women by the government.
The women said that Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains is also making continuous efforts to provide the benefits of government schemes to the eligible and needy people. They said that workers have also been activated to provide information about government schemes to the people and connect the beneficiaries with the schemes. The women expressed hope that the Punjab government will continue such pro-people initiatives for the welfare of women and the common people in the future as well.
