Civil Surgeon Inspects Services and Ongoing Construction Works at District Hospital
Rupnagar, January 20: Acting Civil Surgeon Rupnagar Dr. Navroop Kaur inspected the Civil Hospital Rupnagar and inspected the Pharmacy Counter, newly constructed Clinical Lab, DIEC, OPD Ward, TB Clinic, Sakhi One Stop Center. During this, she gave necessary directions to the officials regarding the quality of the construction work going on in the hospital, safety standards and timely completion of the work.

Dr. Navroop Kaur said that with the establishment of the new clinical lab, patients will have access to testing facilities under one roof, which will save both time and money. She said that modern machines and facilities will be made available in this lab, which will improve both the accuracy and speed of reports.
Dr. Navroop Kaur instructed District Health Officer cum Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Varinder Kumar to complete the work with quality materials and within the stipulated time so that the patients can get the benefit of it as soon as possible.

He also told Dr. Anjali Chaudhary, District Family Welfare Officer cum Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hospital, Rupnagar, that it is the responsibility of the Health Department to provide a convenient, clean and tidy environment to every patient coming to the Civil Hospital.
On this occasion, he also appealed to the hospital management and staff to treat the patients well and always be ready to provide them with the full benefit of government health services. He said that it is our common responsibility to extend the benefit of the health facilities being provided by the government to every section of the society.
On this occasion, District Program Manager Dolly Singla, Steno Harjinder Singh, Monitoring Evaluation Officer Lakhvir Singh and other members were present.
