Sri Anandpur Sahib 04 October : Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann will dedicate the memorial of Amar Shaheed Bhai Jaita Ji, built in Sri Anandpur Sahib, to the entire humanity on October 5. The work of this memorial has been completely completed. The design of this memorial was prepared by the Architectural Wing of Sri Guru Nanak Dev University. This information was given by S. Harjot Singh Bains, Education and Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab. He said that this memorial has been prepared in two parts. A building has been constructed on the first part at a cost of about Rs 17 crore, which was inaugurated in February 2024. S. Bains said that in the second part, five exhibition galleries have been prepared at a cost of about Rs 3 crore, which are now being dedicated to humanity. S. Bains said that on entering the memorial, visitors will be given information about the memorial through models and videos. The galleries depict historical moments like Sikh Gurus, Bhai Jaita Ji’s ancestors’ relationship with the Gurus, oppression of Kashmiri Pandits, martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Jaita Ji bringing the Guru’s head to Sri Anandpur Sahib, offering the head to the child Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the title of “Rangrete Guru Ke Bete”, creation of Khalsa Panth and Bhai Jaita Ji’s participation in the wars. The Cabinet Minister said that in the last gallery, the entire life journey of Bhai Jaita Ji has been depicted through 3D animation. Apart from this, gift shops and sites related to Punjab tourism have also been prepared for the convenience of the devotees. He said that this memorial project has been successfully prepared with the support of the Punjab Government, which Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is reaching Sri Anandpur Sahib on Sunday, October 5, to dedicate to humanity.
