Rupnagar, September 30: Under the instructions of Member Secretary Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar and under the guidance of In-charge District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Rupnagar, Mr. Mohit Bansal, an awareness seminar on drugs was organized at the De-addiction Center at the Civil Hospital.
On this occasion, CGM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Rupnagar Mrs. Amandeep Kaur told the victims undergoing treatment at the De-addiction Center that the main objective of this camp was to make the youth aware of the dangerous effects of drugs and motivate them towards a life free from drugs.
She said that if they express their desire, quitting drugs is not difficult, but completely possible. All that is needed is a firm determination in the mind. Only by quitting drugs can a person bring his life back on the right track and become a good citizen for his family, society and his future.
