Rupnagar, May 19: In order to take forward the vision of ‘Participatory Justice’ and ‘Access to Justice at the Doorstep’, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India is organizing the ‘Supreme Court Action for the Integration of Mediated Judgments and Disputes across the Country’ Samadhan Ceremony, which will begin from 21st April 2026 and conclude with the organization of Special Lok Adalat on 21st, 22nd and 23rd August 2026.
Giving information in this regard, Mrs. Amandeep Kaur, CJM-cum-Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Rupnagar, said that this special Lok Adalat aims to facilitate smooth disposal of cases pending in the Supreme Court of India through consensus-based settlement mechanisms.
He said that the parties can appear both physically or virtually through an online platform to resolve their disputes. Regarding the method of filing a case in this special Lok Adalat, he said that the parties and their lawyers can submit their request by filling the information about their pending case in the Supreme Court of India in the specified Google form link https://forms.gle/jqxefqF4BCWzukoP6 .
Along with this, the Secretary of the District Authority appealed to all the lawyers and parties to actively participate and contribute to the effective resolution of disputes under this initiative.
