Sri Anandpur Sahib, April 14: The registration for the “Mavan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana,” initiated by the Punjab Government for the welfare and empowerment of women, has commenced today from the Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency as a pilot project. The scheme is being implemented from today in a total of 9 constituencies across the state, among which Sri Anandpur Sahib will play a significant role as a pilot project. The objective of this initiative is to strengthen women economically and socially and to connect them with government facilities.

In this regard, Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains visited various blocks/booths in the constituency and reviewed the preparations made for the registration process. He directed officials and staff to complete the registration process with full transparency and in a smooth manner. He stated that ensuring outreach to every eligible woman and securing her registration should be the top priority of the administration.

He further informed that under this scheme, registration work will be carried out at every booth level so that people do not face any kind of inconvenience. Additionally, to ensure the smooth conduct of the registration process, special training has been provided to teams at various locations including Virasat-e-Khalsa and Nangal. Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains personally interacted with these teams today and briefed them about this extensive scheme of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He said that it is a matter of great pride that among the 9 constituencies selected for the pilot project, Sri Anandpur Sahib is the first, and it is an added honor that this training is being conducted today on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi from Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of the Khalsa. The purpose of this training is to provide complete information about the scheme to the staff and prepare them to assist the public.

The Cabinet Minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has fulfilled every promise made to the people. He stated that the government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of all schemes reach every eligible family and that no one is left out. The Mavan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana is an important step in this direction and will bring positive changes in the lives of women.

On this occasion, he appealed to Aam Aadmi Party workers and office bearers to work with dedication and a spirit of service to reach every household and ensure the registration of eligible women. He said that the role of workers is crucial for the success of this scheme and that it must be ensured that people receive complete information about the scheme.

He added that the primary objective of the welfare-oriented schemes launched by the Punjab Government is to benefit every section of society. He expressed confidence that the successful launch of this scheme as a pilot project in Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency will set an example for other constituencies and that the scheme will achieve large-scale success across the state.

On the occasion of the training held at Virasat-e-Khalsa today, SDM Sukhpal Singh, Municipal Council President Harjit Singh Jeeta, DSP Jashandeep Singh, Tehsildar Vinod Kumar, Rajpal Mohiwal, Lucky Kapla, Deepak Angra, Inderjit Singh Arora (President, Trade Association), Sunil Adwal and other leaders and officials were also present.
