Rupnagar, 24 September 2025: Punjab Agricultural University-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ropar organized a one-day Natural Farming Training Course for farmers under the National Natural Farming Mission on 24 September 2025. The training program was led by the Director of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. The course was organized in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ropar.
50 farmers and farmer women from different blocks of district Rupnagar participated in the training. Dr. Satbir Singh, Associate Director at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ropar, warmly welcomed all the participants and provided information about the importance of natural farming for agriculture and soil health. The training sessions were coordinated by Dr. Urvi Sharma (Assistant Professor, Plant Protection) and Dr. Sanjeev Ahuja (Associate Professor, Vegetable Science).
