Rupnagar, 11 May: In a proud and historic moment for Rupnagar District, Mani Mahesh, a brilliant student of Government Senior Secondary School Chanoli Bassi, has brought laurels to the district by securing 2nd position across Punjab in the Punjab School Education Board Class 10 examinations.
Mani Mahesh scored an outstanding 99.23% marks, making this achievement one of the biggest academic milestones for the district. Education officials and local residents termed it a matter of immense pride for the entire Ropar district.
According to school authorities, this is the first time a student from Rupnagar district has secured such a top rank in the Punjab merit list, creating a historic record in the educational journey of the district.
The school campus witnessed celebrations as teachers, students, villagers, and well-wishers congratulated Mani Mahesh and his family on this remarkable achievement. Teachers praised his discipline, determination, and consistent hard work throughout the academic session.
Principal Sharanjeet Kaur said that Mani Mahesh’s achievement has brought immense pride to the school and the district.
