The appearance of the internal roads of Guru Nagri has been changed at a cost of 20 crores before the martyrdom centenary celebrations – Harjot Singh Bains
Sri Anandpur Sahib 07 November : All the internal roads have been renovated to change the appearance of Guru Nagri before the martyrdom centenary celebrations of the ninth Guru of India, Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The work of all the roads coming to Sri Anandpur Sahib is also going on at war level, which will be completed before the centenary celebrations so that smooth transportation facilities can be provided to the devotees.
Giving more information in this regard, Mr. Harjot Singh Bains, Cabinet Minister for Education and Information and Public Relations and MLA Sri Anandpur Sahib said that all the internal roads of Sri Anandpur Sahib from Virasat-e-Khalsa to Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, from Bus Stand to Bhagat Ravidas Chowk, from Court Road to Bhagat Ravidas Chowk, from Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib to VIP Road have been renovated and the work of the remaining roads is going on at a war footing. He said that the work of renovation of the roads coming and going to Guru Nagari Sri Anandpur Sahib is also going on which will be completed before the martyrdom celebrations. He said that blinker reflect lights are also being installed while doing premix carpeting on the roads so that the devotees do not face any problem. He said that these lights prove to be very useful in fog and darkness at night. The Cabinet Minister said that we will complete many other big projects in this area soon. Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann will participate in these centenary celebrations. He appealed to the Sangat of the area to participate in the martyrdom celebrations in large numbers.
