Rupnagar, April 14: On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar ji, SDM Rupnagar S. Jaspreet Singh and all the officers and employees paid tribute to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar at the District Administrative Complex.
Addressing, S. Jaspreet Singh said that it is a moment of pride for all of us that today, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the father of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar ji, we are remembering his work and achievements towards the country and paying warm tribute to him.
He said that Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was a social reformer, Dalit politician, world-class legal expert and the architect of the Indian Constitution who fought a long and arduous struggle for the rights of the needy of all classes and especially women. He described Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar as a great thinker of the world who dedicated his entire life to the freedom of the people and women who were victims of oppression and slavery for centuries and to provide them with social equality.
SDM said that Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s contribution in the construction of this new India and the independence of the country was the most prominent. He said that by adopting Babasaheb’s thinking, the youth of our country can set new examples of progress.
District Revenue Officer Badaldin, District Public Relations Officer Karan Mehta, all the officers and employees of the District Administrative Complex were present on the occasion.
