District Level Science Seminar Successfully Conducted at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Rupnagar

Rupnagar, October 6: The District Level Science Seminar for students of classes 8 to 10 by the Education Department and National Science, Ministry of Culture, Government of India was successfully conducted today at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Rupnagar under the orders of District Education Officer Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal and under the supervision of D. R. C. Rupnagar, Vipin Kataria.
In the seminar, the winning students of the block level presented presentations on the topic Quantum Age Begins: Potentials & Challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. The students’ investigative thinking and passion for science were impressive to the judges and the audience.

The judging team of the competition included: Yadvinder Singh, Lecturer Chemistry, Smart School Phulpur Grewal; Satnam Singh, Lecturer Biology, Smart School Takhtgarh; and Davinder Kaur, Lecturer Physics, School of Eminence, Rupnagar. The responsibility of the stage was taken by Kulwant Singh Science Master Kotla Nihang, while the responsibility of writing the certificates was taken by Navjot Kaur Science Mistress Akbarpur and Baldeep Kaur Punjabi Mistress Kherabad. The program was conducted by DRC Vipin Kataria and Ravinder Singh, BRC Surtapur Bara. Press and media contact was taken by Dishant Mehta, Computer Teacher, Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School Nangal.

First position was won by Simranjit Kaur, Government Senior Secondary School Burmajra; Second position by Prabhjot Singh, Government Senior Secondary School Lodimajra and Sukhman Kaur, Government High School Senfalpur; Third position was won by Radhika, School of Eminence and Preneet Kaur, Government Senior Secondary School Takhtgarh; Fourth position was won by Navjot Kaur, Government Middle School Nangli.
District Education Officer Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal appreciated the enthusiasm of the students and wished the winning students for the next level. During the event, the students presented impressive ideas on the possibilities and challenges with the topic Quantum Age. District Sports Coordinator Saranjit Kaur was also present on this occasion.
