Rupnagar, October 6: The District Level Science Seminar for students of classes 8 to 10 by the Education Department and National Science, Ministry of Culture, Government of India was successfully conducted today at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Rupnagar under the orders of District Education Officer Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal and under the supervision of D. R. C. Rupnagar, Vipin Kataria.
In the seminar, the winning students of the block level presented presentations on the topic Quantum Age Begins: Potentials & Challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. The students’ investigative thinking and passion for science were impressive to the judges and the audience.
The judging team of the competition included: Yadvinder Singh, Lecturer Chemistry, Smart School Phulpur Grewal; Satnam Singh, Lecturer Biology, Smart School Takhtgarh; and Davinder Kaur, Lecturer Physics, School of Eminence, Rupnagar. The responsibility of the stage was taken by Kulwant Singh Science Master Kotla Nihang, while the responsibility of writing the certificates was taken by Navjot Kaur Science Mistress Akbarpur and Baldeep Kaur Punjabi Mistress Kherabad.
