Rupnagar, October 1: Sharing information, Additional District Magistrate Pooja Sial Grewal said that to submit applications for issuance of temporary license of firecrackers under Rupnagar district, they can apply by going to their nearest service centers.
She said that it is mandatory to provide proof of identity and self-declaration in this regard. A draw will be made through the lottery system regarding the license and only the person who gets the draw will be issued a temporary license to sell firecrackers and the concerned person will be able to sell firecrackers only at the place specified by the administration.
The Additional District Magistrate said that the period for submitting applications for license in the service centers has been kept from 1 October to 6 October and on 10 October, firecracker licenses will be drawn through a draw.
