Rupnagar, September 19: The 69th District Level Skating Games were organized at Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy Rupnagar under the guidance of District Education Officer Rupnagar Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal, District Sports Coordinator Mrs. Sharanjit Kaur and Convener Principal Rajan Chopra. 96 players from various schools of Rupnagar district participated in these games.
During these games, the prizes were distributed to the winners by Sukhjinder Singh, Director of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy Rupnagar. He encouraged the children to participate in sports along with studies and while giving his best wishes to the medal-winning players, he said that these players will bring glory to their school, district and parents by winning medals in the inter-district school games as well and motivated the rest of the players to work harder.
According to the Vice-Convenor of this tournament, Mr. Deepak Kumar Rana, in the Under 11 Girls Inline category, Azal World School Morinda won first place, Navneet Kaur S.S.S. Pr School Dugri won second place and Ashman Kaur Azal World won third place. In the Under 11 Girls Quad category, Aradhya Thakur British Columbian won first place, Aaruhi Kakkar Holy Family won second place and Ashwin Kaur Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy won third place.
In the Under 11 Boys Quad category, Ekash Singh Kohli Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy won first place, Angad Singh Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy won second place and Jaskirat Singh British Columbian School won third place.
In the Under 14 Girls Inline category, Japleen Kaur of British Columbia School won first place, Harmanat Kaur of British Columbia came second and Rashmi Singh of St. Soldier Divine Public School came third. In the Under 14 Girls Quad category, Gursimran Kaur of British Columbia School came first, Harsimrat Kaur of Agel World came second and Khushpreet Kaur of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy, Rupnagar came third.
In the Under 14 Boys Quad category, Prabhnur Singh of Garden Valley School, Morinda came first, Sehajveer Singh of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy came second and Bhupesh Chetal of Garden Valley School, Bela came third.
In the Under 17 Boys Quad category, Sahil School of Eminence Boys, Rupnagar, secured first place, Sahibjot Singh Garden Valley School, Morinda, secured second place and Harmandeep Singh Azal World School, Morinda, secured third place.
Rupnagar Zonal President Principal Kulwinder Singh, Satnam Singh, Amritpal Singh, Sonu Thakur and Dharamdev Rathore were present on this occasion.
