Sri Anandpur Sahib, March 30: A group of 10 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the 2024 Punjab cadre today formally commenced their “Punjab Darshan” from the historic city of Sri Anandpur Sahib. The officers paid obeisance at the sacred Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, seeking blessings at the birthplace of the Khalsa.

The initiative aims to provide young officers with a comprehensive understanding of Punjab’s culture, geography, history, art, achievements, and grassroots challenges. During this immersive journey, the officers will travel across various regions of the state to gain firsthand exposure to governance issues and development needs at the ground level.

Expressing their sentiments, the officers described themselves as fortunate to begin their Punjab Darshan from Sri Anandpur Sahib, a place of immense spiritual and historical significance. They remarked that every inch of this sacred land carries the fragrance of the footsteps of the revered Guru Sahib, making the experience deeply meaningful and inspiring.

The officers participating in the Punjab Darshan include Abhimanyu Malik, Shivansh Rathee, Gurleen Kaur, Shivansh Asthana, Pragati, Lindhiya, Mukilan, Harshita Sharma, Piyusha, and Oishee Mandal.

Their visit marks the beginning of an important learning phase, expected to strengthen their administrative capabilities with deeper insight into Punjab’s heritage and contemporary realities.
