Rupnagar, November 07: Students of Government Polytechnic College Rupnagar have brought glory to the college by winning the state level badminton tournament.
Giving information in this regard, the college principal Dr. Navneet Walia informed that a state level tournament was organized by Punjab Technical Institutes Sports (PTIS) at Government Polytechnic College Khunimajra in which various colleges participated. In the final competitions, students of Government Polytechnic College Rupnagar secured third place in these competitions.
Addressing the students on this occasion, the college principal Dr. Navneet Walia encouraged them to participate in sports as much as possible so that the body can also be kept healthy.
On this occasion, Sports Officer Vinod Sharma, Head of Electrical Department Rajesh Jassi, Senior Lecturer Madam Namrata, Harpreet Singh, Workshop Superintendent Sham Lal and all the students were present.
