Education Minister Bains provides a grant of Rs 10 lakh for Badhal Lower Community Center
Sri Anandpur Sahib 03 October: During a function organized at nearby village Badhal Lower, Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains presented a grant of Rs. 10 lakh for the village community center. On this occasion, he said that along with providing better facilities to the people in the villages, special attention is also being paid to the development of common spaces. With the grant, the development work of the community center is expected to get further momentum.
Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that along with the reforms being made in the education sector, the Punjab government is also continuously working to strengthen the infrastructure in villages and cities. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government is giving priority to development works and works are being done as per the needs of the people.
He said that for the all-round development of the villages, attention is also being paid to the works related to roads, streets, drains, drinking water and other public facilities. He said that the main priority of the government is to extend the benefits of development to every section of the society. He also appealed to the people to cooperate in the development works and take care of the common property of the villages.
On this occasion, Sarpanches, Panchayat representatives and villagers of various villages thanked Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains. He said that the grant received for the community center will provide good facilities to the people of the village to organize joint events. During the event, various issues related to the development of the area were also discussed.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Pritpal Singh Kunar, Sarpanch Jarnail Singh Meewan, Sarpanch Avtar Singh Nikkuwal, Kaku Bhangal, Gurmeet Singh, Karam Singh, Sarban Singh, Mandeep Singh, Gurmeet Singh Babbi, Parkash Singh, Swaran Singh, Gian Singh Sukhewal, Amaran Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Randeep Singh, Satish Kumar and a large number of villagers were present.
