Emphasis laid on the ongoing development works in primary schools and smooth implementation of government schemes
Rupnagar, September 25: District Education Officer Primary Shamsher Singh held a review meeting with all Block Primary Education Officers and Center Head Teachers of Rupnagar District at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Rupnagar. During the meeting, various projects being run by the Education Department, ongoing development works in primary schools and important issues related to the education of students were discussed in detail.
On this occasion, District Education Officer Primary Shamsher Singh said that along with raising the standard of education in all government schools of the district, effective implementation of all schemes being run by the government should be ensured. He said that continuity of ongoing development works in schools should be maintained and continuous monitoring should be done to complete them on time.
He instructed all the teachers to ensure that the process of sending messages through mobile phones regarding the midday meal being provided to the students under the Pradhan Mantri Poshan Yojana should be ensured at all times so that no problem arises in this regard in the future.
The District Education Officer also asked for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in schools, regular grading of attendance on M-Star and paying special attention to the education of students. He stressed that teachers should ensure the all-round development of students along with their education.
Before the meeting, Deputy District Education Officer Ranjana Katyal, Information Management System Coordinator Jatinder Pal Singh Rehal and District Coordinator Lakhwinder Singh Saini Majra also provided detailed information about various government schemes and projects of the Education Department.
