Emphasis on development of schools, improving children’s attendance and standard of education
Sri Anandpur Sahib : Training was conducted for the members of School Management Committees at the Block Primary Education Office of Block Sri Anandpur Sahib. Members of Management Committees of various schools participated on this occasion.
During the training, Block Primary Education Officer Manjit Singh Mavi, Principal of Kanya Senior Secondary School Neeraj Verma, Resource Person Raj Kumar and CHT Sanita Dhiman interacted with the committee members and shared detailed information about their rights, duties and their role in the development of schools.
The main objective of the training was to ensure active participation of management committees in school development work, improve the attendance and standard of education of children in government schools, ensure transparent and proper utilization of school funds, and identify the infrastructural needs of schools.
On this occasion, the state governor, the president of Aam Aadmi Party’s Changar zone, also presented his views. He highlighted the importance of joint efforts for the betterment of schools.
Through training, the committee members were motivated to fulfill their responsibility to improve the performance of schools and provide better educational facilities to children.
