Sri Chamkaur Sahib, September 26: A spectacular drone show was organised by the Punjab Government at the Baba Ajit Singh Baba Jujhar Singh Ground in the Sri Chamkaur Sahib Assembly constituency to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. As many as 500 drones illuminated the night sky and presented an impressive depiction of the life, philosophy and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.

The unique aerial show, which brought together technology and spirituality, was witnessed with great devotion by a large gathering of devotees. Through 500 drones, the life and philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji were presented in an impactful manner, highlighting his timeless messages of equality, social harmony, compassion, social justice and human dignity.

Addressing the gathering, constituency in-charge Jasveer Singh Garhi said that the Punjab Government would celebrate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji on a grand scale. He said that a series of programmes dedicated to the Prakash Purab is being organised continuously across the state.

He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is organising drone shows, documentary screenings, seminars in educational institutions and various religious programmes to familiarise people with the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.

Jasveer Singh Garhi said that the spectacular drone show was an appropriate tribute to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji and a unique initiative to take his timeless message to the younger generation. He said that the event was not merely a drone show but an impactful presentation of Guru Ji’s message of equality and unity for the new generation, inspiring everyone to follow the path shown by him.

He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is celebrating the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji with full devotion and using modern mediums to take his universal philosophy to the people.

He informed that 92 drone shows are being organised across Punjab as part of the programmes dedicated to the Prakash Purab. He said the objective is to acquaint the younger generation with the revolutionary philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji and spread his teachings among the people, which remain highly relevant even today.

He further said that the state government has earmarked Rs. 100 crore for programmes dedicated to the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. He said documentary shows based on the life and teachings of Guru Ji are being screened in 13,000 villages, taking his message to the grassroots level.

In addition, seminars based on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji are being organised for students in educational institutions across the state.

He said that everyone is fortunate to have the opportunity to celebrate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji through year-long programmes, including seminars, documentary shows and religious events. He appealed to people to celebrate this historic occasion with devotion and unity and to carry forward the great message of Guru Ji.

During the drone show, Bhai Jagdeep Singh, Hazoori Ragi of Darbar Sahib Sri Chamkaur Sahib, enthralled the devotees with Gurbani Shabad and Kirtan.
