
Rupnagar, January 25: A five-day exposure visit to Jaipur for talented students of Rupnagar district was started today under the leadership of Punjab Education Department and District Education Officer Rupnagar Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal.
This visit is part of the National Innovation Mission, the main objective of which is to provide a unique learning experience to 50 talented students of class XI selected from all blocks of the district.
Giving information in this regard, Vipin Kataria, District Resource Coordinator, Rupnagar said that 15 students have left for Jaipur by air as per the merit list, accompanied by Madam Roman Math, Lecturer, Government Senior Girls Secondary School, Dher.
While 35 students have gone to Jaipur by Volvo bus, accompanied by Neeraj Verma, Principal, Government Girls Senior Secondary School Sri Anandpur Sahib and Anil Sharma, Lecturer Physics, Government Senior Secondary School Sri Anandpur Sahib.
District Education Officer Shri Prem Kumar Mittal said that this exposure visit is a commendable initiative of the department and the government, which will provide an effective platform for students to explore new ideas, learn from experts and develop their skills.
Vipin Kataria DRC Rupnagar said that this visit will strengthen the process of broadening the horizons of the students, developing innovative thinking in them and preparing them for future leadership. The department hopes that this initiative will play a significant role in the academic and personal development of the students.
