
Sri Anandpur Sahib April 02: On the occasion of the beginning of the new academic session 2026-27, Sri Sukhmani Sahib’s Path was conducted with great devotion and spirit for the welfare of all at Block Primary Education Office Sri Anandpur Sahib. During this religious function organized in the morning, Gurbani Kirtan was performed by the Kirtaniya Jatha, which colored the entire atmosphere in a spiritual color.

Punjab Education Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains was specially present on this holy occasion. He bowed down at the feet of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and prayed and took refuge in God for the success of the new session. He said that starting the new academic session in a religious manner is a commendable effort, which motivates us to move forward on the right path.
The Education Minister said in his address that during this academic session, students of all government schools of Punjab including Sri Anandpur Sahib block should touch new heights and this year should be full of achievements. He also motivated the teachers to play an important role in the personality development of the children while fulfilling their responsibility.
S. Harjot Singh Bains Education Minister said that there is increasing interest in admissions to School of Eminence Nangal. According to the information, four students from Mount Carmel School applied for admission to the government school this morning. This proves that there has been a big improvement in the quality of education and facilities in government schools. The trust of parents and students is now increasing towards the government education system.

The Education Minister said that this achievement goes not only to the teachers, but also to the school principal, non-teaching staff, security personnel and campus management. Improvement in schools has been possible only with the joint efforts of all. In view of the increasing number of students, the number of buses is also being increased, so that every child can get convenient transportation and they can study without any hindrance.

On this occasion, District Education Officer (Primary) Shamsher Singh and Block Primary Education Officer Manjit Singh Mavi said that by the grace of God, this religious function has been successfully organized. They thanked all the office staff and teachers of the block for this effort, with whose cooperation this function was possible.
