Shri Anandpur Sahib, November 04: For the first time since 1999, a new pipeline for water supply has been laid inside the water treatment plant. Due to which water supply in the city remained closed for 2 days due to repair work and now the supply has been resumed as before.
Giving more information in this regard, Executive Engineer Water Supply and Sanitation S. Harjitpal Singh said that for the first time since 1999, a new pipeline for supply has been laid inside the plant. If this pipeline had not been replaced in time, then the water supply in the city would have had to be closed for at least 15 days. He said that since the pipes were very old, they had deteriorated in many places, if they had not been replaced on time, there could have been a big loss and people could have faced a lot of trouble. He said that for the last 2 days, all the officers of the department have been continuously working day and night to carry out the repair work, which has now been completed.
On this occasion, Vikramjit Singh JE, Harjinder Singh JE, contractor Matharu, Jagtar Singh Foreman, Jaswinder Singh Bela, Jaswinder Badhal, Manjit Singh, Gurnam Singh, Resham and other staff were present.
