Malvinder Kang Focuses on Youth Health and Village Development
Sri Chamkaur Sahib: Member of Parliament Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency S. Malwinder Singh Kang today inaugurated new open and indoor gymnasiums in villages Behdali, Saheri, Kotla, Rasulpur, Sandhuan, Bhagwantpura and a wrestling arena in Ward No. 9 Sri Chamkaur Sahib of the assembly constituency Sri Chamkaur Sahib.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Member of Parliament said that the government is setting up these open gyms with the aim of strengthening health facilities in villages and motivating the youth towards sports. He said that apart from the youth, these open gyms will also prove helpful for the elderly, women and the general public, which will enable people to turn towards a healthy and active life.

He said that in the modern era, health is the greatest wealth and the government is fully committed to protecting this wealth. He said that through Open Jinma, the youth will be motivated to do daily exercise, which will not only improve physical fitness but also mental fitness.
He said that an open gym was inaugurated at a cost of Rs 3 lakh at village Behdali, an open gym at a cost of Rs 2 lakh at village Saheri, an open gym at a cost of Rs 3 lakh at village Kotla, an open gym at a cost of Rs 3 lakh at village Rasoolpur, a wrestling arena at a cost of Rs 4 lakh at Ward No. 9 Sri Chamkaur Sahib, an open gym at a cost of Rs 3 lakh at village Sandhuan and an indoor gym at a cost of Rs 3 lakh at village Bhagwantpura.
On this occasion, the MLA of the constituency Dr. Charanjit Singh Channi expressed his happiness and said that Malvinder Singh Kang fulfills the promises he makes. He said that in future, the development works of the constituency will be done on priority basis.
On this occasion, Bir Devinder Singh, NP Rana, Sikander Singh Saheri, Jagtar Singh Gharuan, village sarpanchs, panchayat members, local youth and other dignitaries participated in large numbers.
