Seeing the opportunity of the case of illegal encroachment on graves by farming in Christian graveyard Morinda, information regarding the case
Morinda, November 10: Punjab State Minority Commission members Mr. Islam Ali and Mr. Darshan Masih visited Morinda.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Islam Ali and Mr. Darshan Masih said that an application was submitted by the Christian community to the Minority Commissioner in connection with which they came to the spot and learned about the harassment done in the graveyard, how fodder for animals was sown in the graveyard and the gate of the grave site was removed.
They said that the problem was informed to the MLA of Sri Chamkaur Sahib constituency Dr. Charanjit Singh and District President Navdeep Singh Tony.
Members Mr. Islam Ali and Mr. Darshan Masih said that instructions were given to the officers in this regard that a report on this cemetery should be prepared and given to the Minority Commission so that legal action can be taken against those who are illegally occupying the cemetery.
On this occasion, Punjab Christian Front President Pastor Lovely, Chairman Pastor Lucky, Chairman Poster Sant Morinda USC Church President Major Masih, Pastor Amarjit and a large number of Christian community were present.
