There is no substitute for human blood in the world, only donated blood is capable of saving human life- Harjot Bains
Sri Anandpur Sahib October 12 : The youth have taken a commendable initiative for the welfare of the people by making an effort to donate blood. Blood donation has been called very excellent for public welfare, in today’s time it is most necessary to save lives.
This was expressed by S. Harjot Singh Bains, Cabinet Minister for Education and Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab, while specially participating in the blood donation camp organized by the youth of Baba Deep Singh Sports Club Dher in the memory of Baba Labh Singh Ji, a resident of Sachkhad. Dozens of units of blood were collected by the medical staff of Sri Anandpur Sahib Hospital in this camp.
The Cabinet Minister said that the youth of this area have participated in the blood donation camp in large numbers. Human welfare is a good initiative. He said that the brotherhood among our people is very strong and such camps are proof of this.
