He said that 20 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the Kiratpur Sahib Grain Market today. He said that as per the government instructions, it will be ensured that the farmers are paid for their crop within 48 hours. He further said that farmers should bring only dry paddy to the markets and should avoid burning stubble and manage crop residues responsibly. He said that proper arrangements have been made for procurement arrangements in all the markets, which include cleanliness of the markets, lights, clean drinking water, moisture meters, tarpaulins, etc.
