Civil Surgeon Rupnagar makes surprise visit to Kiratpur Sahib, Bharatgarh, Gardale, Ghanoli Health Centers
Kiratpur Sahib, October 15 : Dr. Sukhwinderjit Singh Civil Surgeon Rupnagar today reviewed the progress of the construction work underway for the construction of a new building of PHC Kiratpur Sahib to provide quality health facilities to the devotees 24 hours a day in view of the 350th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to be celebrated at Sri Anandpur Sahib from November 22 to 26. Apart from this, he visited the health centers Bharatgarh, Gardale, Ghanoli and reviewed the health facilities being provided on the spot. The Civil Surgeon also checked the facilities being provided in emergencies, the availability of medicines and expressed his satisfaction with the facilities provided by the staff.

Dr. Sukhwinderjit Singh inspected the OPD, lab, emergency ward, vaccine storage area, pharmacy, office, drug de-addiction center, vaccination room and NCD room during the visit. He inspected the cleanliness, medicine stock, record maintenance, proper treatment of patients and service process.
On this occasion, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Jangjit Singh said that during the inspection today, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sukhwinderjit Singh expressed satisfaction over the completion of most of the construction work of the health center and instructed to complete the remaining work soon and start the process of providing better health facilities to the patients in the new building.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sukhwinderjit Singh also visited Ayushman Arogya Center Girdale and Sub Center Ghanoli under Block Bharatgarh. Senior Medical Officer Dr. Anand Ghai met the Civil Surgeon and BCC. Sukhjit Singh for his visit to the center and said that with his guidance, all the health centers of Bharatgarh block will continue to work with more enthusiasm and dedication to serve the people. This visit was not only a review of health services, but the direct interaction with the patients and the guidelines given to the staff proved to be an important step towards making health management more effective in the future.
