Rupnagar, 12 November : A three-day district-level training program for Chemistry subject lecturers was organized at Government Senior Secondary School, Purkhali, Rupnagar, under the guidance of District Education Officer Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal and DIET Principal Ms. Monika Bhutani.

The training was led by PDM Principal Mr. Rajesh Kumar Jain, while the training sessions were conducted by key resource persons — Mr. Ravinder Singh, Mr. Yadvinder Singh, Ms. Mamta Bakshi, Ms. Gurinderjit Kaur, and Ms. Tejinder Kaur.

Chemistry Lecturers Attend Three-Day Capacity Building Program in Rupnagar District

On the first day of the training, detailed discussions were held on all important topics from the Teacher’s Handbook. The participants also explored competence-based question framing (Bloom’s Taxonomy), continuous learning programs, innovative teaching methods, and the use of Artificial Intelligence in education.

The resource persons encouraged the lecturers to adopt new pedagogical techniques, digital tools, and experiential learning approaches. Principal Rajesh Kumar Jain emphasized that such training programs equip teachers with up-to-date scientific teaching methodologies, thereby strengthening students’ learning abilities.

Among those present on the occasion were Lecturers Sohan Singh Chahal, Rajesh Kumar, Parminder Singh Parvinder, Sabir Kaur, Sukhbir Kaur, Sunita Kamboj, Prativa, Meghna, Hrsh Kapila, Narinder Kaur, Harkirat Kaur, and several other teachers.
