Says elaborate arrangements put in place to facilitate Sangat
Sri Anandpur Sahib, Nov 25: Punjab Education and Public Relations Minister Harjot Singh Bains is personally visiting different sites to oversee the arrangements made for devotees gathered from various parts of the country and foreign shores to mark the 350th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
The Minister, who is reviewing the arrangements, said that the Punjab Government had made adequate arrangements to ensure smooth and seamless facilities for the Sangat. The Minister also directed the officials concerned to ensure necessary services for the Sangat. He said that the state government was facilitating the Sangat with e-rickshaw services, shuttle bus operations, ample parking facilities, tractor-trolley city, Aam Aadmi Clinics, help desks, and more for Sangat. Additionally, multiple tent cities have been set up to provide comfortable accommodation for the Sanagt.
The Minister highlighted that special attractions including the state-of-art Light and Sound Shows, Drone Show, Guided Tours to Religious Places, Heritage Walks, and an exhibition on the life, teachings, and unparalleled sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji have witnessed huge crowds, with unprecedented arrangements in place to manage the rush. He reiterated that according the status of a holy city to Sri Anandpur Sahib during the special session of the Vidhan Sabha is just a humble tribute to Guru Ji. He said that the state government would make every possible effort for the all-round development of the city in the future.
