Cabinet Minister Harjot Bains flagged off the pilgrimage bus from Midhwa Upper
Sri Anandpur Sahib 18 September: Under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme being run by the Punjab Government, the MLA of Sri Anandpur Sahib and Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains flagged off the bus from Midhwa Upper today. On this occasion, the devotees were very excited during the journey. They thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains for this special initiative of the government.

Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that this bus will go to Sri Amritsar Sahib. The entire expenditure of this pilgrimage is being borne by the Punjab government and no money is being taken from any devotee. He said that till now countless devotees have done the pilgrimage, for whom this pilgrimage is being conducted, he said that the government is also expressing gratitude to the people of the state for this initiative along with their cooperation.
On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister said that this scheme launched by the Punjab Government is a big initiative for the people associated with religious faith. Through this scheme, devotees are getting an opportunity to visit various holy religious places. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government is committed for the welfare of every section and is continuously working to provide facilities to the people.
Mr. Bains wished the pilgrims going on the pilgrimage a pleasant and auspicious journey. The pilgrims also thanked the Punjab Government and the constituency MLA Harjot Singh Bains and appreciated this initiative.
