Sri Kiratpur Sahib, April 2: The annual function and prize distribution ceremony was celebrated with great pomp at the Government Middle and Primary School located in Raipur Sani village near Sri Kiratpur Sahib. On this occasion, after a year of hard work, the results of the students were declared and the talented children were honored.
MLA from Sri Anandpur Sahib and Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains arrived as the chief guest at this function. During his address, he praised the dedication and hard work of the state awardee teacher duo and said that this school is beating even private schools with its excellent results and activities.
He distributed prizes to the students who performed best in education and wished them a bright future.

The school’s in-charge, State Awardee Madam Satnam Kaur Kaith, said that like every year, this time also a colorful program was presented by the children during the function. The students captivated the audience through Giddha, Bhangra and Nukar Natak and gave a message of awareness against social evils.
The results from nursery to seventh class were declared. Raviya stood first in nursery, while Navjot Singh secured first place in seventh class. Students of other classes also brought glory to the school by performing excellently.
