Directions given to the officers to work with the spirit of service – Additional Deputy Commissioner
Sri Anandpur Sahib 04 November : Pooja Sial Grewal Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Sri Anandpur Sahib has said that adequate arrangements will be made for the convenience of devotees on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom centenary celebrations of the ninth Guru Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. He instructed the officers to perform their duty during these celebrations with the spirit of service.
Yesterday, during a special meeting held in the meeting hall of the sub-divisional office in this regard, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said that all arrangements are being made keeping in mind the possibility of a large number of devotees from the country and abroad reaching Sri Anandpur Sahib. He reviewed the progress of the ongoing work by the officers of almost all the departments of the district and gave instructions to expedite the work. The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the target has been set to complete all the preparations by November 15 and the administration is fully hopeful that all the departments will complete their work before the specified date. He especially reviewed the accommodation arrangements.
