Applications can be made till December 15 for the 16th course of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute

Rupnagar, October 14: The Employment Generation Skill Development and Training Department Punjab is taking various steps to provide employment to the youth. The department prepares for NDA exams at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI) Mohali. The admission process for the 16th course has started in this institute and interested students can apply online from October 15, 2025 to December 15, 2025 by visiting the portal.
Sharing information in this regard, District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Rupnagar S. Prabhjot Singh said that the entrance examination for this course will be held on January 04, 2026. He said that students of class X who are interested in joining NDA can apply for the new course at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute. Apart from this, students currently studying in class XI can also apply, but they will be admitted to class XI only after fulfilling the age criteria. The eligibility criteria are available on the website of the institute.
Mentioning the achievements of this institute, he said that so far a total of 278 (62.5 percent) cadets of this institute have joined various service training academies and 179 cadets have become commissioned officers in the defense services. He said that the results of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Preparatory Institute have been the most excellent in the entire country and the cadets of the institute have made Punjab proud across the country.
