Administration committed to resolve the problems of family members of freedom fighters in a timely and effective manner - Jasjit Singh

Rupnagar, September 24: Today, in the committee room of the District Administrative Complex, under the leadership of Chief Minister Field Officer Jasjit Singh, PCS, various issues related to the family members of freedom fighters were discussed.
During this meeting, CMFO interacted with the representatives and family members of freedom fighters and got information about their problems, complaints and issues and discussed them in detail.
Jasjit Singh directed various officers of the district to immediately send the pending reports related to the freedom fighters to the competent authority for further action and to also give them due respect while visiting the government office. CMFO The representatives and family members of freedom fighters were also informed that if any officer does not respond to their application under the Public Information Act, they can appeal to the First Appellate Authority of the concerned office.

CMFO Jasjit Singh assured that the administration is committed to resolving all the problems of freedom fighters and their dependents in a timely and effective manner.
All Block Development and Panchayat Officers (BDPOs) and Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary) Rupnagar were present on the occasion. The Deputy DEO told the representatives that if they want to name the government school of their village/mohalla after the name of a freedom fighter related to their family, then they can easily get their application uploaded on the e-Punjab portal of the Education Department Punjab from the concerned school.
Prominent representatives of the organization of freedom fighters and their dependents included Chitan Singh Sekhon, State President (Freedom Fighters Successors Organization, Reg. 196, Punjab), Balwinder Singh, State Treasurer and Baldev Singh, son of Mr. Rattan Singh, President (Rupnagar Unit) along with the heirs of freedom fighters of the district.
