Gardale/Rupnagar, April 18, 2026: A state-of-the-art NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) lab was inaugurated today at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Gardale, marking a significant step towards strengthening skill-based education in Punjab government schools.
On this occasion, Mr. Kamikkar Singh Dadi, Chairman of the Market Committee Sri Anandpur Sahib, attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he appreciated the developmental works carried out in the school and highlighted the rapid transformation taking place in Punjab’s government education system.
He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the continuous efforts of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, government schools are witnessing remarkable improvements in infrastructure and quality of education.
He further added that these positive changes are encouraging parents to enroll their children in government schools with renewed confidence.
The NSQF lab is aimed at providing students with practical skills and vocational training, helping them become more career-oriented and self-reliant.
The event was attended by Block Education Coordinator Sardar Daya Singh, Deputy DEO Sardar Inderjit Singh, School In-charge Rajinder Kaur, Gyan Chand, Narinder Saini, School Management Committee Chairman Kamaljeet Singh, Dishant Mehta, Sarpanch of Gardale, Sarpanch of Gazipur, along with parents and the entire school staff in large numbers.
The inauguration reflects the Punjab Government’s commitment to modernizing education and empowering students with practical knowledge and skills.
