Medical Assessment Camp Organized by Samgar Shiksha Abhiyan
88 Children Participated, 67 Selected for Distribution of Goods
Rupnagar, August 25: Samgar Shiksha Abhiyan Authority Punjab organized a medical assessment camp at Diet Rupnagar under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Mr. Varjeet Walia. Children from five blocks Ropar, Miyapur, Salora, Morinda and Sri Chamkaur Sahib were examined in this camp.
Giving information about this camp, District Education Officer (Primary) S. Shamsher Singh and Deputy District Education Officer Smt. Ranjana Katyal said that a total of 88 children participated in this camp, after which 67 children were selected for distribution of goods.

District Education Officer Shamsher Singh said that these camps are organized twice a year for Divyang children, in which first these children are examined and then these children are distributed goods as per their need. This equipment includes wheelchairs, tricycles, hearing aids, hearing aids and other necessary equipment. He said that these equipments are provided by Alimco Government of India for the differently abled children.
On this occasion, DSC Gopal Sharma, MIS Coordinator Jatinder Pal, Special Teacher Rupinder Kaur, Manmeet Kaur, Sonika, Neeraj Katoch, Vandana, Sumna Kumari, Gurmeet Kaur, Anisha Kaur, Sandhya, Kanchan Thakur, Chandravati, Gurtej Kaur and Suman were present.
