Rupnagar, September 22: A program was organized today at DAV Public Senior Secondary School Rupnagar to launch an inspiring book ‘Supne Hakeekat Bande Ne’ written by Madam Kavita Verma.
The chief guest of this program was former District Education Officer (Secondary Education) Shri Raj Kumar Khosla and released the book. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Mrs. Kavita Verma, who is serving as a science teacher at Government Senior Secondary School Miyapur Ropar, keeps making various efforts from time to time for the all-round development of the students along with their studies and one example of this is that the book that has been dedicated to the public today has also been written keeping in mind the problems faced by the students and for the all-round development of the students and it is hoped that this book will prove to be very useful for the students and the general readers. On this occasion, while reading the pamphlet on the book, a detailed discussion was held on the various topics of the book. He presented suggestions to make this book even better.
District Public Relations Officer Mr. Karan Mehta, who arrived as a special guest, explained its uniqueness by giving details of other books related to this book series.
Former District Education Officer Jagjit Singh blessed the author of the book. Dr. Devinder Saifi, while discussing the book, termed it as a book that provides proper direction to the energy of the students and also offered some invaluable suggestions. Balwinder Singh Bhatti termed the book as the need of the hour. Santokh Singh Sukhi, Research Officer, Language Department, Patiala, reviewed the book from a literary perspective.
In a long conversation regarding this book, Vice Chairman D. A. V. Public School, Rupnagar, Shri Yogesh Mohan Pankaj, Ranjit Singh from Shri Anandpur Sahib, Principal Nisha Samnotra, Dharminder Singh Bhangu, Jagtar Singh Khamano, Gurinder Singh Kalsi etc. presented it in invaluable terms.
On this occasion, Principal Jaswinder Kaur, Kulwant Singh from Language Department, Rupnagar, Yatinder Kaur Mahal, Progressive Writers’ Association, Rupnagar, Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Rani, Former Principal Jaswinder Singh Chandigarh were present.
On this occasion, writer Kavita Verma explained in detail about the objectives of this book. Shri Avtar Krishna thanked all the attendees. The stage management of this program was done brilliantly by Mr. Tejinder Singh Baj.
