IAS Aditya Dachalwal takes charge as Deputy Commissioner of Rupnagar
Rupnagar : 2016 batch IAS officer Shri Aditya Dachalwal took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Rupnagar today.
Talking to the media after assuming office, Mr. Aditya Dachalwal said that his main priority would be to solve the problems of the people of Rupnagar district on a priority basis, provide transparent administration, extend the benefits of government schemes to the common people and take the district to heights in every field by implementing development works.
He said that the focus will be on making government services accessible to the residents of the district in a simple manner. Along with this, health, education, drinking water, sanitation and infrastructure will be further strengthened.
Earlier, on reaching the District Administrative Complex, he was given a ‘Guard of Honour’ by a contingent of District Police. After this, he held a meeting with the officials and also reviewed the welfare schemes being run by the Punjab Government.
The Deputy Commissioner today held a meeting with Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Avikesh Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner (V) Chandrajyoti Singh, Assistant Commissioner Arvinderpal Singh Somal, SDM Rupnagar Baljinder Singh Dhillon, SDM Sri Anandpur Sahib Jaspreet Singh, SDM Morinda Gurdev Singh Dhamma, SDM Sri Chamkaur Sahib Amrik Singh Sidhu, District Public Relations Officer Karan Mehta, District Revenue Officer Badaldin and other officials.
