Extensive preparations are being made in Guru Nagri, special arrangements will be made for the convenience of devotees - Cabinet Minister
Sri Anandpur Sahib 11 November : On the occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Guru of India, Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, four divine Nagar Kirtans will reach Sri Anandpur Sahib from different corners. These Nagar Kirtans will reach Sri Anandpur Sahib from Srinagar, Gurdaspur, Faridkot and Talwandi Sabo on 22 November.
This information was given by Mr. Harjot Singh Bains, Cabinet Minister for Education and Information and Public Relations, Punjab and MLA of Sri Anandpur Sahib. He said that the Nagar Kirtan will start from Srinagar on 19 November and will end at Sri Anandpur Sahib via Jammu, Pathankot, Dasuha, Hoshiarpur, Mahalpur, Garhshankar. Similarly, the Nagar Kirtan starting from Gurdaspur will pass through Batala, Baba Bakala, Sri Amritsar Sahib, Sri Tarn Taran Sahib, Sri Goindwal Sahib, Kapurthala, Kartarpur Sahib, Jalandhar, Banga, Balachor and will conclude at Sri Anandpur Sahib. He said that the Nagar Kirtan starting from Faridkot will pass through Ferozepur, Moga, Jagraon, Ludhiana, Khanna, Sirhind, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Morinda, Sri Chamkaur Sahib, Rupnagar and will conclude at Sri Anandpur Sahib. Similarly, the Nagar Kirtan starting from Talwandi Sabo will pass through Bathinda, Barnala, Sangrur, Patiala, Rajpura, Banur, SAS Nagar Mohali, Kurali, Rupnagar and will conclude at Sri Anandpur Sahib. All these four Nagar Kirtans will conclude on November 22.
S. Bains said that this divine Nagar Kirtan will reach Sri Anandpur Sahib via the main route from Srinagar and Gurdaspur, Faridkot, Talwandi Sabo through various towns of Punjab. The devotees will participate in these Nagar Kirtans in large numbers. Extensive preparations are being made by the Punjab government.
