Harjot Singh Bains, Cabinet Minister, Information and Public Relations Department, after the burning of Ravana on the occasion of Dussehra festival organized by Radha Krishna Rama Dramatic Committee, Basowal Colony, Ganguwal. He said that Dussehra is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm all over India. Lord Shri Ram Ji won victory over Lanka on this day. He said that in our society, the character of Parshottam Ram Ji has been given the status of Maryada Parshottam Ji. An example of following the orders of parents has been set, the entire Ramayana has been inspired to follow the true path in life at every moment. He said that we celebrate the festival of Dussehra with great love and respect, the life of Lord Ram is explained on the nine days of Ram Leela and the festival of Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day. He said that the organizations and institutions that organize such events deserve congratulations, which are giving a new direction to the society.
The Cabinet Minister said that we have drawn a new outline for the development of Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency. We are fulfilling the promise of providing all basic facilities to the people by carrying out all-round development of villages and cities. New playgrounds are being built in villages, so that our children and youth can be motivated towards sports. He said that our goal is to connect every village with a strong road network and provide basic amenities to the people. The Cabinet Minister said that the government led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously making extensive efforts to extend the benefits of public welfare schemes to the needy, and has eradicated corruption. He said that we remember our responsibilities and promises, and are fulfilling all the promises.
