E-KYC and land verification process should be completed by June 20 for the next installment of PM-Kisan Yojana – Chief Agriculture Officer
Rupnagar, June 15: Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Vinay Kumar appealed to the farmers of the district that those farmers who have not got their e-KYC and land verification done under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana should immediately complete their e-KYC and land verification process by June 20 to get the next installment.
He informed that the Government of India has made e-KYC and land verification mandatory for beneficiary farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana so that they do not face any problem in getting the next installment of the scheme.
Dr. Vinay Kumar said that farmers can get their e-KYC and land verification process completed by contacting their nearest Common Service Center, Suwidha Center or Agriculture Department office. Farmers can also check their status on the PM-Kisan portal.
He appealed to the farmers to complete this process as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience so that the next installment of the scheme can be received in their bank accounts on time.
