Dr. Anjali Chaudhary takes charge as District Family Welfare Officer
Rupnagar, September 26: Dr. Anjali Chaudhary has taken charge as the new District Family Welfare Officer in the Civil Surgeon’s Office of District Rupnagar.
On this occasion, Dr. Anjali Chaudhary said that the work of the Family Welfare Department will be done more effectively. Efforts will be made to further strengthen the family planning, maternal and child health, PNDT, child care, women’s health services and population stability programs in the district.
On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sukhwinderjit Singh said that with the long experience of Dr. Anjali Chaudhary, family welfare works will be implemented in the district in a more expeditious and smooth manner.
He said that the role of the Family Welfare Officer is very important in making people aware about family planning services and providing facilities, eliminating the difference between boys and girls in the society and implementing various health schemes here.
Dr. Anjali motivated the staff to work together and said that cooperation between all departments is very important to bring the benefits of government schemes to every household.
On this occasion, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Bobby Gulati, Dr. Amarjit Singh, District Program Manager Dolly Singla, District Account Officer Manjinder Singh, District M&E Lakhbir Singh, BCC Coordinator Sukhjit Kamboj and staff members were also present from the Health Department who congratulated Dr. Anjali Chaudhary on assuming the new responsibility and assured her of full support.
